I'm having a similar but different issue. I just purchased an HP 15 A-8 Quad Core Processor Windows 8.1 laptop from Best Buy...64 bit, and I subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud CS6. It says my sampling rate inputs and outputs don't match up, and I'm unable to record directly in. I installed my favorite Adobe Audition 1.5 version and it works just fine. I just installed ASIO driver and selected it on Preferences Menu but at the time of this writing haven't been able to test it yet (People are still sleeping in the house where I'm at!) Anyway, I'll check back to notify whether this worked or not...but I wanted to get this out there in case anyone had previous difficulties, and / or found the fix. I'm not sure why everything needs to be so damn complicated when it comes to interfacing Adobe Software. This hasn't been the first issue I've had over the years trying to get Adobe Software to run on various computers and operating systems. I won't even go into My Adobe Premiere 64 bit / 32 bit conundrum I had a few OS's ago.
