My Windows 7 PC was recently updated (by a consultant) with new HDDs. The old HDD was left connected and is still accessible but the contents were copied to a new one. I have a 44,600 item PSE catalogue (I am using PSE 8) and, although recently added pics have the correct path to the new partition, Properties for the old ones show the drive letter for the old (and largely redundant) partition. If I use Disk Management to change the drive letter, the Properties also show the new letter. I want to "connect " these many thousands of files to the copies on the new drive but my researches have failed to find a method of doing this. I would be most grateful if anyone can put me on the right track.
