Thanks for getting back to me, Bob.
When my computer came back from the shop, there were several phantom "Removable Disks" now on my computer. Not sure how they got there but one of them was named "(H:)" which explains why . I was able to rename it, thus freeing up that letter which I then applied to the drive it was originally on. This was after I posted my appeal on the Adobe Forum. Unfortunately it still didn't help the situation. Premiere Pro still asked "where is the file....whatever". I tried finding all the files it asked for but there are so many in this project and, because it was shot with three cameras, there are several files with the same name, it was a useless endeavor!
I recall starting out with Windows Moviemaker and it had the happy capability of, when it asked for and received a given missing file, it would be able to locate and load all the other missing files automatically. Why can't Adobe do that? Is there any way, to your knowledge, that Adobe can be made to do that?
Many thanks for any light you can shed on this!
Regards, Lewis
