Hi guys,
My first post on here, these forums have helped me a lot in the past when I've wanted to figure something out and I've come here to read what others have had to say. I couldn't find any other posts that explained this issue exactly however.
To set the scene - I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro CC; the 2014 summer update version, my auto-save settings are once every two minutes, 10 maximum auto-saved files, and the auto-save files are created in a subfolder that is contained within the same folder as the project file itself.
My problem is that the auto-save feature, although pops up extremely regularly (due to my settings!), doesn't always actually SAVE my work... For example, if Premiere for some magical reason decides to crash today, I think 'no matter - I'll recover it from the last autosave that popped up 2 minutes ago'. However when I go to the auto save folder, all of the 10 autosave files are dated from yesterday! (Or another date when I was previously using Premiere.)
What confused me further is that this issue is intermittent. Some days I have no trouble recovering from a crash by loading up an auto-save, it's just that some days, it appears that regardless of the auto-save progress bar popping up in Premiere, it hasn't actually saved at all.
I hope I've made my problem clear enough, if any of you clever folks could shed some light on this irritating issue I would be extremely grateful for your time and thought!
Many thanks,
Ryan
