I closed down CS6 while saving a psd file and when attempting to reopen it, it came up as corrupted. Internet searches have not found a solution. (Remo repair couldn't do it and most the other repair tools seem to be Windows only). I couldn't find the location of any errant PSB autosave files.
My partial solution was to open the file in photoshop while ticking the 'Image Sequence' box (it didn't seem to matter whether I checked it as a Tiff or a psd). This gave me a flattened version of the file as a video layer that I could then rasterise - not great but a lot better than nothing.
If anyone knows how to do a repair so that it will reopen properly I would love to hear it.
Built-in incremental save would be a great improvement Adobe peeps.
