Recently, I've been spending more time troubleshooting Illustrator than actually accomplishing anything with the program. I've tried every piece of advice on every forum, both here and on the web at large. I've spent the afternoon chatting with support and still no new developments. Sad to say it, but I'm over it. The suite that they offer provides tons of functionality to my business. Unfortunately, the nonstop headache of trying to accomplish anything with illustrator and the lack of any hope beyond "this issue has been addressed and will be included in the next update of illustrator" have caused me to reconsider the value of this program. For the premium prices that they demand for their services, I've found them to be sorely lacking. If I could work on a project for more than 15 minutes without having to sift through my applications and move the prefs file or uninstall my Wacom tablet, even go as far as to uninstall, clean, and reinstall multiple times, maybe I would pay the $240+ that they're asking. As it stands, I think I'll go look into Corel Draw or Sketch...
