I always record audio and video separately, edit audio in Audition and then use the "merge clips" function in Premiere to merge the audio and video clips. This usually works perfectly. However, in my latest video, merging audio and video creates this high-pitched, whining background noise. Have any of you experienced this problem and know what causes it?
The pure audio sounds fine after being imported to Premiere. It's only after merging the clips that I get the background noise (it's not even there on the raw, unedited audio).
