Thanks for your reply. Here are my answers to your questions:
1. I used the card reader to view the clips. I have never connected the camera to the computer to view clips.
2. AME version is 7.1.0.174
3. Premiere version is 7.1.0. Clips will not display in the XF view in Premiere either.
4. The XF view option from the pulldown menu is greyed out and not selectable. The only view option is file view.
5. Yes, this is a customized ProRes preset in AME (are there prebuilt Adobe presets??) Settings are as follows: ProRes 422 @ 23.976 w/uncomressed audio @ 48k Stereo 16-bit
6. Yes, the size of the ProRes clips are larger than the native C300 .mxf files. This is most likely due to the higher bit rate though, wouldnt you think?
7. The iMac is iMac 13,2. 3.4GHz Intel i7. 32 GB RAM. Storage is a Pegasus J4 RAID with 4 SSD's in RAID 0.
