aha, i tried this "linked" thing earlier and as yet can't even find how to find the hard drive within finder...
i've now deleted all the adobe stuff (didn't uninstall as i believe they weren't installed in the first place) and currently trying to find out how to download the products again to try entering the details that way. can't find where to download them from except for this creative cloud thing that i've never seen before but appears to want me to pay monthly for using the products.
so my question now is where do i download Photoshop CS5 and Illustrator CS3 from? or failing that how do i go about following the steps written on that page linked to?
