Sounds like you only want the buttons to go to the particular social media site? Why not just use the social media Icons. There are tons of different ones on the web or even in fonts like font awesome....

Just to clarify, here is an image that I have cropped just as I indicated using a 16:9 crop ratio, and exported with the long image being 1920 pixels. It fits my monitor perfectly.
